Has anyone had and likes or dislike about the alaska stoker II coal stove looking to put one in my basement. how long they last? how long units last? Blower?

they work great. in both places they make way more heat than can be used and are very efficient.

they stay like new with little work. 8-)

sounds good. I went with the larger fan and it is a nice option. they can put out heat for sure.

The fan i am going with is the 500cfm fan that should be plenty i am sure\

yes thats the larger one. I stuffed a course 1" thick,cut to fit, filter media in the intake side to catch dog hair, small birds and varmints for soup.......


it can really move some hot air! 8-)

Well I changed my choice of a stove. Hope it was the right way to go. I went with a alaska channing (new). Its been running for about a month now pretty happy with it going to take time to get used to it
