Is there any good reason why a Harman Magnum counld not be power vented. I power vent should simply do the same thing as a chimney..from what I understand.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I was wondering the samething. When i first got mine i was thinking of power venting it and i got mixed reviews. Some said it would work while others said it wouldn't work right.I think it would work but i'm no expert. If it's like my brother inlaws his is adjustable as long as u have it set to .06 draft i think it would work

Anyone ever get an answer on this? I'm thinking about doing the same thing on my chimney just for added safety

One reason is they do not have a powervent that has been tested with there product.(that I know of) All our PVs are tested for our products only and I believe likewise with Reading and Alaska. Not saying ours wont work but we cannot support it being used for some other MFG stove. It costs us quite a chunk of money to have the testing done on the new Powervent that we use.
