I went out the first day and had no luck. But I did get a doe in archery season.

Been shotgun season since the 26th here - no rifle allowed for deer .. but you can hunt rabbits and fox with a .45-70 ... :roll: We call that ... " MASS LOGIC " ... :lol:

Last day is tomorrow. Nobody I know has got any yet - neighbors or my relatives. I haven't had a minute to do anything ... just like last year. Probably won't bother buying the license next season, as I've wasted 2 seasons so far. Nothing like giving to a state that takes .... :x

Archery is long gone - that was Oct.15 - Nov.24th.

Black powder begins Sunday ... if only MA residents could hunt on Sundays .... :roll: Actually they may have changed that, but you never know in this state. Deciphering any laws in this state requires multiple attorneys and rocket scientists ...

Smitty, you got a 45-70? I have been lookin for a new Marlin that shoots the 'super' load with the 500 grain bullets :up:
