Hand Fed Coal Stove: Hitzer 354
Coal Size/Type: Nut/anthracite

Post by cookieman » Sun. Mar. 09, 2008 9:09 pm

I have struggled with short burns in my hand fired hitzer 354 for the last two months. Burning Balshak nut coal. Thanks to you guys I finally realized that you really must stuff the stove full of coal. WOW what a difference! The blue flames have been dancing in my stove for forty eight hours. I can't get near the hitzer, our three dogs have it surrounded. Many thanks for info in this forum!
