I'd just like to thank Dave again for the great service to help get our Pocono back up and running in record time with a replacement door 'glass'.

Yes, LL consistently reminds us what customer service is about, and how it's meant to be done. :)

I've got to add to this, I broke some stuff on my boiler being in a hurry and not paying attention. Made a call to Dave yesterday and had a nice surprise when I got home today. Now to fix my screwups!

Harman is there for the sale, but hide like a easter egg when you need service. :rimshot:

Let me give a thought here before the answer. Over the years with my two Pocos, I decided to replace the glass with a piece of steel (which Dave also provided promptly). I could rarely see the fire anyhow as coal is such a great sand blaster. Problem over.

Harman really takes it on the chin and maybe for good reason in some areas . We have a harman dealer in my area who sells pellet stoves and pellet furnaces and alot of them . I have many friends who have them and they get great service . I guess it all depends on the dealer you buy from as harman may not want or have time to deal with the individual buyer .

I do not have the time to pay my taxes either so I am not going to bother with that nonsense. So you have a good dealer in Maine - good for you but aren't you mainly wood burners - any others.......

...less and less wood burners in maine, I work with 2 guys and one burns wood because it's free off his land and the other burns coal. The wood burner has seen my shake and 12 hr. load and is jealous!

Firewood is not always easy to get and it is expensive even up here in northeren Maine . Most of the people I know are getting out of fire wood and turning to wood pellets . My plumber is taking out 3 , 4 , year old wood boilers and they are turning to something else .I went from a wood boiler to coal and love it . The local wal mart can't keep enough wood pellets in and their sales for them increase every year and they are just one source of several for them . I'm not defending harman as I have nothing to do with them just that all the people I know are happy with their products and the service they get .
