Coal quality opinion??

Do any of you guys burn coal from blashack coal corp in pine grove pa?? My dad has burned it for a few years with pretty good results. I just recently bought my own house and installed a coal insert. I bought a few bags from a local guy and I believe the coal was garbage (I was burning my stove at 475 on the side of the stove and the fire went totally out in 14 hrs). I'm debating picking up a ton of coal from harmony mine or getting it from blashack. Anybody have an opinion?? Thanks

Let me clear it up a bit. I have no clue where the local Mennonite guy had gotten his coal supply.

Did you mean the Blaschak Coal Franklin facility in Revine just outside of Pinegrove? if so it closed ,unless they opened it again very recently.

I am much happier with the Harmony coal I am burning this year compared to the bagged Blaschak I burned last year. Less ash, more BTUs it seems. Cheaper to boot.

Yes that's the one!!! Wow I didn't know they closed that's where my dads coal guy always went!! I was gonna call em today. I guess I may definitely be going to harmony this weekend. Do you think I can get a ton of nut in the bed of my 2500?? It's a 6.5 foot box

I have seen my friend get a ton of rice in his short bed F-150 if he took his plastic liner out, it was real full.

Nut size takes up less room so you should be good to go.
