Maybe, if they included the section where the Constitution says that slaves were worth 2/5ths of a person and the sections that were amended after 1787, the other members of the house wouldn't have treated the event as the meaningless show it was.

If your going to claim to read the Constitution in it's entirety, then, don't leave out the inconvenient parts.

Once an Amendment removes something form the Constitution, it is no longer a part of the Constitution.

Now we know exactly who the throw the *censored* out next election.

If you subjected both sides of the aisle to a pop quiz on the constitution, most would fail miserably....as would the average american.

Since they all take an oath to uphold the Constitution which contains the provision for raising taxes to pay for debt shouldn't all those that also took an oath to a lobbyist (some Dems. as well) to not under any circumstances raise taxes be subject to discipline of some sort?
