In fact one of my ""dream"", maybe the 3* dream
Hope to see that beauty on the heating job soon.

You need to take that baby with you when you move (just tell the Realtor the living room will be put back to its conventional look and use prior to closing)... a job that will clearly be insignificant for you to do. Im impressed with your welding repair on that base plate (I think this was an impact fracture more then a flaw in the design though? unless water helped it cool at some LOL) Im not sure the heat generated here alone could have caused that? The firepot looks like the weak link to me in design, how did you repair thati assume their is some kind of firebrick or it simply a cast firepot? I cant believe how well you stick welded that stuff (artistry for sure)! You got skills man... great thread!

Your hearth completed with the stove proves an aesthetic point that I often try to make to skeptical people. Nortcan's installation of his Baltimore Heater also proves it. These beautiful stoves can fit into any decor. Your installation blends both the contemporary with a Turn Of the Century Piece and it looks completely natural and proper. Nortcan's stove is high Victorian Gothic, but how he put in the faux fire place and blended it together makes it look perfect. These stoves can go anywhere.

I remember when you told me way back when I would end up selling the pellet stove and I thought I may keep it around as a "just in case". I guess that was a "just in case" I ever bought a boat and needed an anchor and I ain't buying no damn boat! A guy came down from PA over the fall and bought both of the pellet stoves and the ton of pellets I had on hand which paid for my Nickel and a fair portion of the hearth
.
Pierre has a beautiful installation for sure, and I always enjoy his threads.
Glad you like it Uncle William, and Thank You for all the direction and help !
