Filtering Active and New Posts

Filtering Active and New Posts

PostBy: Lightning On: Wed Jan 23, 2013 10:13 am

I was very happy to find this option in another thread and thought many others here would be too.. Its especially useful for those of you who are here for the coal and not the political "&*%$#*" or the doomsday gloom and doom "&*%$#*" ... All you gotta do is check off the Topics that you don't want to see when you click Active or New in the top right of the screen. 8-)

I thought this option deserved a higher profile since I'm sure there are others here that are just as sick of seeing the BS as I am.. ;)

Excellent post. Now I can see only the coal stuff without wading through all the flames and rants.

Thanks,

Franco b, just so you know - I left the option ON for Thoughts and Intellectual Debates JUST SO I can see your posts.... :D I find your posts refreshing to read since I consider you one of the few that see the "big picture" on just about any topic 8-)

Thanks so much. I was also struck with how many of your posts were right on in analyzing coal burning problems. You make an excellent trouble shooter.

There is lot of option in the control panel, note that each tab has multiple pages. The links fore each tab are too the right.

For example on the "Board Preferences >> Edit display options" panel you can turn off signatures, avatars etc.

You'll also find the option to enable or disable the word filter there.
