Want to split 25 ton of Pea anthracite coal in Southern NH

Want to split 25 ton of Pea anthracite coal in Southern NH

PostBy: horsefarm On: Tue Dec 11, 2012 11:50 pm

I am wanting to spilt a 18 wheeler trailer load of 25 ton Bulk pea size anthracite coal in Southern NH. I have an S260 boiler stoker. Cost is $220 a ton delivered from PA to our houses in southern NH with the load split at each place. So 25 tons of pea coal is $5500 for the total load. Delivered and spilt load would be $2750.00 each for about 12.5 tons each.. Pretty good price considering bagged coal is $320 a ton around here... Anyone wanting to save a lot of money this winter over bagged coal give me a message...

Was looking to get it from Penn Keystone Coal in PA... Or if any one knows a good Supplier for a good price with good coal let me know as well... My options are open... Any one know how there coal is? :)
Thanks Joe..
Nottingham NH.

Hi Joe,

I've also been looking to buy bulk bagged for a few years. I purchased an AHS S130 4 years ago and have been using bagged Blaschak pea from a local Derry Source. I buy 1 ton at a time in the summer. I have not used anything else but have been told that Blaschak is high grade so I would want to see about comparisons. I have all the coal I need this year plus 3 tons, but I would still be interested in splitting a load with you. Do they have a forklift to get it from street to driveway/yard?

Have you got any takers?
Been getting bags from henry McMannus in Barrington. Someone here thought he got about 280 /ton.
Is it worth getting bulk?
I'd be up for it if you get more folks

Henry gets $320 a ton, by the pallet.
Cheapest around this area.
