WN,
Some time you'll have to come down here and spend the weekend. When you get here Friday night, I'll have some sharp and other cheeses along with hard Sturgis pretzels. I might even have some triple smoked bologna and maybe if I like you, I'll break out some venison bologna and jerky.
Saturday morning we'll start with scrapple and eggs. I like syrup over the scrapple but you can have whatever you please. By lunch time (we call that dinner) we'll snack on some souse, tripe, and pot pudding before having a pickled heart sammich. For supper (dinner for you flatlanders) I'll get you some pig's stomach.
Sunday morning I'll get some slab bacon, cut it about 1/4" to 3/8" thick. While that is slow cooking, we'll dice some pre boiled taters. I like to use the bacon grease to fry up the home fries. After they are somewhat browned, I'll toss in some diced onions. After everything is well cooked, we'll shred some good aged cheddar and melt it over top of them. Hopefully we will have some left over grease that we can use to fry up the eggs.
Maybe for lunch we'll have some grundsow fried in butter with some more taters and onions.
I'll roll you out to your car for the ride home.
Then go get a blood test on Monday morning and tell me what your numbers are.,........... They may not be pretty but I can guarantee your belly will be satisfied. Exercise during the week !!!!!!!!
