Growing up on my parents farm I was driving tractors two to three hundred horse power pulling large equipment like the one in the picture when I was about that age or a year or two earlier. Never gave it a second thought, it wasn't I could not handle the machinery or I was not mature enough, I did it because my help was needed, I was told to and I enjoyed the hard work and driving tractor. You pull your weight on the farm. When I owned my own dairy, working in the field with large tractors and equipment was still the best part. That was a few moons ago. Growing up I didn't have computers, computer games, neighbors, or a village in spitting distance from the farm. People drove slower and being out in the country on a country dirt road you didn't see much traffic and if you did have traffic, they respected the fact you had the right of way and you were working hard. Jumping ahead to when I owned my own dairy, I had tractors with GPS, on board computer monitoring and all the creature comforts of home at my finger tips.
So, yes I can imagine it happening, did it done it and it happens every day across the farm lands safely. Farm kids are a different breed. Just my two cents.
