What size ash can ?

What size ash can ?

My ash can is 19" x 11" ,but when i emty it i find ashes (more a power) that didnt make it into the can,next to the back wall(the side with the window to check the fire pot) and its always power un like whats in the ash can ? is my can the right size, dont think i could get a much bigger one in there!

You can't get away from that residual ash. when the ash falls into the bucket, it kicks up the lighter-than-air powder. The next time you empty your ash pan outside, just throw the contents onto the ground (double check the wind direction!!). That Hiroshima type ash cloud that you create is the same thing that happens inside the stove, only on a much smaller scale.

The Behrens 2GS is a 15 gallon round tub that is 22" in diameter by 11" tall.

Their 1GS is 20.5" in diameter by 11" tall.
