After doing some extensive reading of older posts here on the bitty forum, I found something that seems to work great in my DS Machine. I added the Basement #4 door to get secondary air, but it isn't
heated secondary air. This being the case, the stove has only limited capability to burn off volatiles.
I was reading a Popular Mechanics article that was referenced in an old post. The "Nut and Slack" method they described seems to work really well, and gives a good use for those fines
