After setting the Low to 140 and High to 200, it is working way better than before.
It keeps the house at 68 on the first floor and 72 on second floor.

That is one of those questions that is usually answered with "it depends".

It depends on the heat load of the house, and how much the stoker must run to keep the house warm. I usually burn about 100 lbs per day at this time of the year, but on real windy/cold days it is around 125 lbs. A big Victorian house like you have might require double that...it all depends on how well the heat stays in the house.

Over the summer I think you should consider some piping changes to your system. I would pipe it in a primary/secondary arragnement so you can have steady circulation in the radiators, and let the boiler ramp and and down as needed to heat the house. The would also allow you to keep the boiler at a higher temperature to avoid condensation.

I'm heating 4200 sq ft of uninsulated victorian on 4 zones. Mine wouldn't keep up and I found why....I wasn't giving it enough feed air, and I had junk coal. I gave it air and good UAE coal and it plays with it....I'm also feeding ny domestic hot water and an apartment with it too.
