Touche, Fred. I know what you’re saying, but I suspended my common sense / intuitive wisdom this time in favor of my cynicism, or realism. We tough guys make our heros – our Army Rangers, our Green Berets, our Navy Seals – then we oooohhh and aaaahhh over them like a bunch of middle-aged women watching Dr. Oz on the Oprah show. Yes it is sad that the guy was shot, but come on, he was no god, just another soldier lucky enough to come home and clever and cynical enough to profit from his experiences with books and shoot-em-up outings for people with $3,000 to burn. He based his career on killing people with guns, in the service and after the service, and he was killed with a gun.

Sorry, Rigar, I didn't intend to distort your meaning. The word stood by itself without explanation, so what to you was the "obvious" interpretation did not come across to me.

As to misquoting Ron Paul, he can speak for himself. As usual he said lots of things that make sense; and as usual he did not follow either the left-wing playbook or the right-wing playbook; and as usual that got him in trouble with both sides. Beware those who think for themselves!
