Federally mandated indoctrination of your child coming soon

COMMON CORE - this is the name of the curriculum (they don't call it "curriculum" so that they can circumvent the rules already in place - similar to how obama loves to circumvent the Constitution on many issues).


This is nothing short of left-wing indoctrination of your kids. This is top-down government-forced indoctrination, at that. There is also a disturbing data-mining element to this as well. They want to know religious & political affiliation, bus stop times & locations, and a whole host of other info that the government shouldn't have any business of knowing about your kid.

Glenn's doing another show on it right now. The person behind all this is a woman that's on one of obama's education boards. When she lost an election to some education position a while back, she received a glowing editorial in the NYT by none other than domestic terrorist Bill Ayers. This should tell you all you need to know about this woman .. AND this common core crap.

That'll be the only way if they succeed in ramming this down our throats. Imagine the generation of kids THIS curriculum will produce! America will be finished. It's pretty clear that's their ultimate goal.

The basis is Common Core "standards", which after they've been adopted, then drive both curriculum and assessments (which used to be called "tests", but I guess that's too scary a word).

PA has been operating its own "student longitudinal data system" for several years. They apparently aren't collecting all of the data fields recommended by the feds...for now.

Common Core is here, right now, in PA. The State Board of Education (not your elected representatives) adopted these standards in 2010 after a series of "public meetings" and they are being implemented in public schools across the state. People in PA are just now becoming aware of this, and are starting to raise questions with their state senators and representatives. I've heard that some representatives are not happy once they hear what's really involved here. If enough heat is raised in the General Assembly, especially in the House, there might be a serious inquiry into this.

An interesting quote from their website: "As the leading education services company, Pearson is serious about evolving how the world learns." I guess because America's traditional education system was such a failure.

Is Pearson Education part of Pearson View? I take exams for work through Pearson View and it's ridiculous. You walk into a room. Sign in, are given a form to read that lays out the rules. Then you have to get your picture taken. Then they finger print you. Then before you go into the testing center you have to empty your pockets, sign in again, get more finger prints. Then they escort you to your seat tell you that you are not allowed to look around and have to keep your head straight then you are not allowed to talk. If you need to take a break or have a question you must raise your hand and wait for the proctor. You also can not leave immediately when you are done. You have to raise your hand, wait for the proctor to sign you out of the computer. Then you have to go sign out. Have your finger prints taken again. Then you go back to the main desk, sign out and then get your finger prints taken again before you can get your stuff out of a locked locker and leave.
