Still in, started September 21st (wife was cold). This includes a weekend away. loaded the SF260 with as much as I could at 6:30AM on Saturday and returned at 1AM Monday morning to a small pile of hot coals. Took more than an hour to bring it back enough to go to bed, but it did not go out.

First match went from Oct 26 till around Jan 5th. Intentional shut down and clean. Second match from Jan 5th to present.

Two matches should do it for me unless we get an early warm spell like last spring :-)

Not going to officially start keeping a constant fire till next week, but does revitalizing a weak fire with a little wood disqualify you from the one match club? Am I already disqualified because I had the stove going off and on? Couple days at a time.

First year with your new stove does not really count. As time goes on it just becomes another challenge after you have mastered the "Coal Thing". If everything was easy everybody would be doing it.

In that case it's all good  I only used 1 pack of matches my first year, so for 2013-2014 I'm still in the 1 match club. ;)

Two matches last year. Provided no catastrophic failures, I should be able to do one match this year :D
