Looks to be a VERY informative show ... unlike what we have currently on TV.

This show was VERY well done! Blows 60 Minutes out of the water in every way.

The topic tonight was government surveillance. They had a few whistleblowers from the NSA on who were fired, and subsequently harrassed by the government for their patriotic actions. They were nearly imprisoned for multiple felonies, smeared in public as traitors, and had their private lives ruined in retaliation. This is the VERY stuff we fought the British against ...

Anyway, pretty spooky stuff revealed on the show, although we all pretty much knew all along what the government has been up to. They talked about the different surveillance programs created, and how the government refused the ones that worked for the ones that made lots of people VERY wealthy at our expense. George W. Bush was no friend of the Constitution, that's for sure!

Think of this - every phone call, email, text - everything - can be pulled up by the FBI with one click. The storage facility they've been building in UT will house enough information to cover every human being on the planet for up to 100 years. This is a HUGE facility. Slated to be fully operational by September 2013.

If the time ever comes that the gov't needs to know everything about you, they will have it ... and decipher all that information as they see fit. This violates so many amendments & parts of the Constitution it's tough to keep track! Lets hope the powers that be aren't as dark & twisted as we've been hearing ....

HIGHLY recommend the show! If you don't have The Blaze, call your cable co. & tell them you want it - NOW. EVERY AMERICAN NEEDS to see this channel. You deserve the TRUTH.

This is so true its scary... every text, every email, every web site visited, every download, every piece of mail sent or received can be viewed, every phone call can be retrieved if they so choose... even worst then that, in the very near future every trip outside your house can be tracked, archived and video taped with the use of drones and satellites. and we all run to places like facebook to display, say, post, pics, everything conceivable about our private life

The capability is there no doubt-but realistically, how many can be watched and tracked at any given time? Very few, and I am sure the resource is used sparingly & where it counts. 300 plus million of us, I am sure the government could care less what I am doing. Now the angry Mustaffa? Every movement is tracked(I Hope !) I could be wrong, but I do not fear this stuff-the snag that I see is some employee with access to this capability using it for 'personal' reasons. That would pose a problem.

I thought I explained this Paulie, but maybe not ...

They don't need humans to read & comprehend all this info. ONE KEYSTROKE and it's ALL there for them to see, organized into topics all in a fraction of a second. The programs that do this have been around for over 10 years - we can only speculate that they've got MUCH faster/detailed. Whatever they want to find, they WILL find. Trillions upon trillions of hours of info can be condensed instantly into evidence they need to do whatever they wish with you. This is all well and good with a MORALLY GROUNDED government ..... but historically, how many of those can you provide me info on? :|

Few and far between, and, sadly, they do not last long. Technology is making 'freedom' harder to preserve, no doubt. Odd thing is
when you look at the court system, especially here in the Commonwealth, people are walking that really shouldn't. They walk on procedural errors more than not. The courts are very diligent in protecting rights and process to take them. So, on the street level, hi-tech capability has not translated into higher conviction rates. My view from main street is that ya they can watch, poke,
and prod, but in the end, you still go before a judge, and they distrust the government more than anybody here. Balance of power
continues to work.....so far.

When law abiding citizens start worrying about what they write in forums and personal phones being used to take their rights away, we will have lost the battle.

OH wait.
