Is anyone interested in going in on a TT load of coal in NW

PostBy: NWBuilder On: Sun Jul 07, 2013 9:17 am

Hello everyone,
For the past several years I have been going in on a tractor trailer load of coal with several of my neighbors. Well, I may be the only one who needs coal this year so I thought I would put the feelers out to see if there was interest. I am looking for between 10 and 12 ton so that would leave at least 10 ton. If there is interest we can work on the logistics. Last year we paid $265.00 a ton delivered. Great coal so let me know, thanks NWB

load can be comprised of any combination of sizes of coal,if that helps.you will need a forklift capable of handling one ton pallets

I know no one seems to want to step up and order a TT load, AND if you all want different sizes, then bagged is the only solution. You could do super=sacks if you had a means of offloading a TT load. Gale has some of the cleanest, well sized coal you will find and they will bag it any way you like, but you CANNOT have it both ways...bulk prices for bagged coal. I have done this for 45 years and I am set up for bulk, however damned few that get it from me, are. Bags are a very good alternative if you don't have bins, loaders or fork trucks handy.

Call Gale Mining because they will find you trucking at a fair price, and the gentleman who thought 250/ton delivered in NW Conn is surely being a good friend to pass that along. Up where I am bagged is 325/ton or 8.95 for a 50 lb bag. That is 360/ton. I don't know what you guys want, but this is a viable solution if you have bag enough to go direct. No middle man, but remember that DEALER has to own all the equipment; have a place to keep it, pay for it up front, sit on inventory....and deal with all the folks who bitch about the price, moisture, bags, ash content...blah, blah, blah.

 :!:
