Yaaa, it sure seems they design stuff so it jusssst makes it through warranty, then, they don't care if it takes 7 hours to do a 2 hour job...they charge you for every hour.

I am happy to report that the Ford is back on the road. The power steering lines from Advance Auto fit perfectly.

Yippeee! That was a BIG difference in cost.... usually Ford items are some more, but not that drastic a difference. I'm glad it worked out for you!

Rob...just wanted to personally thank you for getting this work done to your plow truck which in turn will mean a lack of snow this winter!! :D

My FIL got a snow blower two years ago...the year after the 3 blizzards....and hasn't had to use it yet....i was thinking that his magic had been used up and we were due for some snow this winter!

Quieter than ever, and seems to have more power. Maybe it will even hit 10 mpg now? 8-)

did the mechinic say anything about retorquing the manofold studs.When I retorqued mine I got 1/2 to 3/4 turn of nuts on the studs

I asked and he said not to touch them. He warmed it up once and snugged them, so I guess that is enough? I am temped to put a wrench on and see.
