Thanks for your normal choice of kind words Klook, it shows where you are coming from & that you either didn't listen to the clip or didn't comprehend because you allow your hatred for libs to over ride everything else. It isn't about owning a gun, it isn't even much about a legally blind person (but I think that is up to a doctor the same as a drivers license). It's about a blind persons right to carry outside the home. Didn't your mother at least knew when it was best to stop & I commend her for it but aren't these legally blind people that you want to be able to drive doing so on public streets? Going blind is most likely not of the persons choosing as with most other disabilities but they almost all have limits or modifications to overcome those limits, I can't think of anything that would make me feel comfortable with a blind person pulling a arm & preparing to fire in most any public situation.

You will never receive kind words from such as me. We have zero in common, other then living in the same country. I have found almost nothing you ever say to be to my liking. And either you are sincerely an anti-american troll pretending to be a union, Vietnam vet, regular Joe American or you are the bitter, Socialist/big government American you want us to believe. The only thing you ever say that I agree with is follow the money. That works for both parties, and surely works for your boy in the White House right now. I find it interesting that you always take the lightning rod position, and have met very few people as far left as you with out them being mentally deranged, drug addled, or from a certain mindset. All of the above in some of them. Your bitterness with the people that rise to management and succeed oozes out of every discussion you have. You had the same opportunity everyone else had in this country. Yet you insist on blaming a for profit company for making for profit decisions. :? I maintain to others in Pm's that you are a troll, pure and simple. You are a good one however. ;)

Kevin

I am like RWalker in this respect, I really, really don't care what someone that does not have anything in common with me thinks. I don't hate you, I just don't respect you. You and your kind destroyed the manufacturing cities from Detroit to Boston, I moved here to be surrounded by like minded people, and I am. And the South is prospering while the New England states and the Rust Belt states fail from within. Will there be another civil war to keep them down again? Interesting......

Once again Klook for reinforcing my statement, perhaps you should read your own words & be honest with yourself as to who is a bit on the bitter end, & I never ever even in my wildest dreams thought that there would be private PM s where the context of my posts were concerned. As I said you don't even bother yourself to hear what my link even said, if it's coming from me you can't help but take the opposite side or what you think it is anyhow. I am sure that if we really knew one another we would find many things in common, that is if one would allow their preconceived notions to beset aside. I have many friends in all walks of life & don't even know what way they lean politically & don't really care because it makes no difference, in the Constitution that I live for & under we all have our right to believe as we choose & express those rights. I had no idea that I had the power to destroy whole cities, I apologize to anyone that I may have harmed in doing so   . As far as your moving I hope you don't ever discover that BAM, there it is you didn't move far enough, we're everywhere. Have a good evening & I mean that sincerely.

As a national average, police hit what they shoot at about 30% of the time.

I'm confident even a blind person could approach that. :D

Bitter Sam??? I am working and getting along fine amongst the Conservative people here. Your political class destroyed cities, and your union mentality. I moved to just the right place I think. Georgia is a little more rough, but I work there most of the time. And as predictable as winter snow, you wrap yourself in the flag and Constitution to fend of injury. I am surprised you didn't throw in some lines about being a veteran and how down and out you are, no money, because big greedy business kicked you every time you tried to get up. You have painted such a picture of yourself with your posts, why would I think anything else? Unless you are a fake. Which is where I think the line falls. Funny a socialist throwing the Constitution back in our faces. Well, thats enough for me, you know where I stand. Until proven to be unworthy of a gun, everyone has the RIGHT, under our Constitution, since you are so fond of it.

Well Klook, once again you have turned a thread into a personal attack. I'm done with this crap, odd that you & some others know so much about me, what I really mean even when I say something totally different, I thought only the female gender could do that. Go shave your head now & have a good day but watch out for those blind guys with guns. ;)

I really had ZERO interest in responding in this thread until I saw my name, then I decided I would watch the link and see what all the hubbub was about.

I hope I understood/comprehended the 30 second video. It can be tough sometimes.

At any rate, I guess my opinion on it is this: someone who is handicapped has just as much right to not be a victim as anyone else. I highly doubt a blind person would just pull his gun and start shooting if he expected the store he was in was being held up. Maybe, but doubtful. However, if he/she is grabbed, thrown to the ground, attacked, etc. I could easily see a blind person having the ability to pull their sidearm and use it effectively. Their situational awareness is far better than ours, so I think they could probably defend themselves in close quarters. Lord knows in this day and age no one is going to step up and help. People would see a blind person taking an ass whooping and just walk on by. The only person that can guarantee your safety is YOU. So yes, I agree, they should be constitutionally permitted to carry.

Sam likes to go against the grain. It is his way of getting his daily jollies. I don't hold it against him too much. As you have said KLook, allowing someone to get under your skin who you do not personally know and for all we know could be a 15 year old kid, is time not spent well. This IS the internet. It is a safe haven for all to exercise the right to free speech. I know many like him in the real world. They are the same people who would scream to high heavens if they knew my .45 was tucked safely in my waistband while I am in the bleachers at my son's football game. But it is ok for the government to take $600 a paycheck away from me so they can flood Wal-Mart on food stamp day...

Sam is much like a dog who constantly wants you to throw the tennis ball. However; if you ignore that dog, he eventually drops the ball and finds something else to do. Or goes to the corner and licks himself...
