Well, tomorrow I leave to the hospital. I'll be operated on Monday. I'll be leaving my laptop home - less stuff to keep track of, family will be bringing it to me after I get to my regular room later this week.

I asked my cousin to let you know how I'm doing in the mean time. Sooo until I get back on line, I won't say goodby I'll say "see you later".

"Beemerboy" asked me to report on his latest situation. I am not sure if posting as a "reply" is the correct way, but...maybe someone can let me know.

He opted for an LVAD, which is a left ventrical assist device...a heart pump. He is at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. The surgery was yesterday, and he is still intentionally paralyzed and on a respirator. He required a new heart valve to withstand the pressure of the new pump. He is on massive medication, of course, and I will update you later. As he wrote when requesting me to do this, "I've gotten a lot of support from these people in the last year or so and they really helped me deal with all this." So send him positive energy in any manner that you use: thoughts, prayers, meditations...and I will update later.
