Just bought a 1978 Hondamatic 400 with 3000 miles on it. Been in an 85 yr old guy's garage for the last 20 years or so covered with a tarp. Dusty, but like brand new under the dust. Photos once I pick it up.

I hoped it would go to a good home here in the states but that didn't happen. It ended up going to a motorcycle dealer in Bangkok, Thailand. I'd assume he's going to sell it for a profit. Jerry

I found this all original (except paint) '64 DuoGlide Panhead last winter in a shed 10 miles from home. It had been stored 25 years, and I spent this spring and summer taking it apart, fixing problems and making it safe to ride. I ended up putting about 650 miles on it at the end of the season. This picture shows it on a cool morning a few days ago. It is a kick-only bike (last year of those), so I was happy it started at 36 degrees so I could ride it to work.

Added a track only bike to the group.

06 Triumph Daytona 675. Kitted out for track use. Quick shifter, rearsets, full exhaust, geared, dyno tuned, remote adjust brake masters, GPR steering damper, Race Tech suspension, race body kit, lots more goodies. Have 5 days scheduled at NYST, one at Pocono, 3 days at Grattan and 2 days at Calabogie in Canada!

SWEET! I used to use the road as my personal race track for many years. One of the reasons I've gotten away from that style machine, but I digress ...

That thing is mint! I can just picture destroying the twisties with that thing. SO much fun.

Hated working on those though. Lots of stuff in the way, plus cam removal for valve adjustment (Jap bikes, at least), hated removing plastic just to change the oil, and tires are STUPID expensive for the good ones ..... but one twist of the wrist and all that is forgotten.

It looks good in the photo, but believe me...it's not so pretty close up. It's been down several times at speed and shows, but I wanted something that I wasn't afraid to drop and although the $20K BMW was a blast on the track I was too afraid of tossing it into the weeds to ever really ride it fast. This Triumph...was cheap and it'll work fine for me.

Tires now aren't too bad. A set of Dunlop Q3s are $170 after the $50 rebate and I won't go through 2 sets all season (maybe 3 rears)

It's not cheap to play at the track, but it's a lot safer than the street.
