No humans hurt? That's good as well as lucky.

The trees that are down with the bent roots.... don't forget that they are "spring loaded". When you cut them the stump and roots may spring down HARD.

I'm glad no one was near those electric wires.... Yowza! Those are some nasty burns.

No mention of it being a tornado on the local news last night, but plenty of time spent on the damage done, customers still without power etc.

Windy as hell here again, more shingles flying.. I need to go up on the roof and glue/nail some down.
The temperature was 63* at 0800, is down to 52* now, low of 25* forecast.. and rain changing to snow..

We seem to have got all that wind today. 33 mph gust recorded on my Davis ... and being that it's location is sheltered, that's a big one! Was out there trying to do trailer bearings, and the damn wind was picking up all the sand that the damn town won't sweep up, and blasting me ... and the fresh grease with it. At least it hit 71° today. Warmest day of the year so far.

Today was an "elevated blood pressure day" . Spent an hour wandering around a junkyard 4" deep in mud trying to find a inner door handle for a young neighbor's Ford Focus. She locked her keys in the car, and the idiots that her work hires for lockouts yanked on her door handle, after she told them it was LOCKED .... good God Almighty! Glad I wasn't there .... They broke the pot metal piece inside the door, bent both door pillars outward, and punctured her weatherstripping ... on BOTH sides. Yep - some certified jackasses. She'd have been better off grabbing a brick off the ghetto wall and blowing out the side window ....

Anyway ... the local junkyard doesn't have a clue where the F any of their cars are. None of the rows are marked, and some are under a foot of water! Walking for an hour ankle deep in mud wasn't my idea of fun at 08:00, especially with all the crap I had on my plate today. Then I get all the way home and find I forgot to grab this damn nylon piece of S part Ford ingeniously designed ... so had to screw around for an hour making one myself out of connectors in the Jimmy. What a joke!!

Then hit the road right at rush hour (of course ....) to grab some brake shoes for that car trailer. NOT a good way to end a day!! Surprised I didn't get pulled over ... Also found that snow tires buckle & squeal like hell when taking a 90° turn at 40 mph ....

Someone want to tell my WHY I quit drinking?????

Thanks Bob - I actually haven't talked to mom for more than a minute over the past week or more, but she'd doing good. Docs say her tumors are shrinking and blood levels ( whatever the hell that means ...) are good ..... so we'll take it. 8-)

Hey Smitty, I found a handle for you, it would be a long roadtrip but those should work.

Maybe they build them better over there. I'll warn you that I'm pretty sure the interior would smell like s***, I know it would if I did that.
