pretty simple when I bought the stove the latch was broken I grounded It flat drilled and tapped not sure of the screw type large washer like head you can adjust the tightness of the door by adjusting the tightness of the screw hi temp silicone Locks it in

That looks like a smart repair. I wondering if you could put some pictures of your stove. Is it a Modern Oak?

stoves in pieces just purchased it last Sunday be done with it this Sunday Haha

Uuuummm, . . . that all looks a lot the parts for my 118s ? Are you sure it says 119 on it, . . . or is it 118 on the front of the firepot skirt ?

118 or 119 or whatever, that complete back pipe is another gold mine of copies is it not ?

Sorta.

This summer, I bought a 118 in Maine with a complete, original back pipe to make a copy for my other 118. Also, in the hopes of making copies available for others with Modern Oaks. However, it turns out that only the 118 uses the 6 inch back pipe and matching castings. The smaller Modern Oaks use a smaller back pipe. :(

Took The back pipe a part to day clean and polish it something a bought taking something a part that hasn't been touched in a hundred years Able to save all the bolts
