Paint Colors for Antique Coal Stoves

I think the key is to paint it antique gold, or if gold paint only available then brush it fast so it's not on thick and perfect as that approach lends to a more antiqued or distressed look. My oldest daughter is an artist and she said that's the technique.

If you want thermolux order from the company. Dampney Co. Paris St. Everett, Mass. I go right to the plant and get it. They do make many colors but I find they do change some with enough heat.
