Came home this morning( I've been working nights lately) and the wife said she had to turn on the furnace, that the house was 59* last night. I said that's sounds like a perfect sleeping temp and that she must have slept well, she was not amused... She said that if there is no fire when she gets home from work then there will be no dinner tonight, I guess I know what I'm doing this afternoon.

I guess that depends on how well your wife cooks.

Yeah was 72° in here when I went to bed ... and when I woke up it was 67°. If the boiler wasn't running making DHW, it would've been low 60's in here easy. Guess it hit 40° early this morning. Can't stop this crap from coming ... but we can stoke up the fires.

There are much more severe things than that, you could make her crazy though then no doubt withhold the serious stuff.Richard S. wrote:I guess that depends on how well your wife cooks.

Actually she is a fantastic cook, better than moms. And we all know it doesn't just stop at withholding dinner does it, they always win.

A man called 911 and said he thought his wife might be dead.
911 asked why he though she " might " be dead.
Well, he said the sex is the same, but the dishes are pilling up in the sink.
