Ironic that so many people still think burning wood is much cleaner than coal.

It said antique stoves before 1940 are exempt from the extraction ruling. Wood burning cook stoves are also exempt from this law.

The real funny question was..."how do I notify the DEQ that I removed and destroyed my stove?" damn lambs to slaughter!
As long as the stove is ornamental and the resale value is more than a typical wood stove :? not subjective in the least, he or she must sell antique stoves!

At least there's a exemption for antique stoves. Unfortunately the sheeple out there probably don't know what they have. Really sucks when you like old stuff and the government keeps trying to ban it. Crusher programs for cars come to mind. I wouldn't mind a old fridge from the 40's for a future man cave, shop, etc., but the tree huggers are after those too. Pretty soon it's going to be a crime against the EPA just for waking up. Hope all these liberals freeze. I'll be walking around my house in my skivvies and t-shirt this winter. Spent to many winters freezing my balls off working outside. I'm done being cold. Matt

I have a beautiful '48 GE originally purchased brand new by my maternal grandparents. I've been saying to myself for years now that I'm going have it painted candy Apple and flame it but I have not gotten around to it. All it needs is a new gasket and paint. Come get it, it's yours.
