No problem,NTP....We're definitely higher due to the Haul and other factors. Last Year I thought that there was a Rumor that Thompson was getting in some DiRunzo Coal. Never had a chance to check. McGiever's got a point. At that price coupled with no tax on Coal in PA,you're saving $200 Smackers ON 5 tons.

In New Wilmington they have bagged coal all sizes but buckwheat, bulk coal all sizes but buckwheat and soft coal bulk.JesseLav wrote:New Wilmington is about 5 minutes closer for me than going to Thompson, just didn't have their number on me at the time.
But over at Thompson's...only Nut and Rice bulk. They will have one of the guys bag some up for you for a fee if you give them a couple days notice.

Got 4 pallets (60 x 40lbs bags per) for just over $1400 includig delivery at $75.
Wanted to get it bulk but this is the first time filling the new bin so I wasnt confident in my sizing or the bin itself. 3 weeks after filling (slow process 40lbs at a time) 4.1 tons are waiting and the bin is working perfectly. Extra bags should be a nice backup incase the winter is as bad as some predict.... but they havent won the lottery lately and now that im prepared itll probably stay about 50 all winter.

Just paid $80 a ton for bit lump last weekend at the tunnel hill mine in new lexington. Up $5 from last year, go figure. At least it's decent coal, with minimal clinkers.

I bought a total of 6.8 tons this year, and I paid just about exactly what I paid for my delivered coal one year ago.
