I did just that Fred. I got thicker gaskets from Larry and installed them. It seemed to help, I got a tighter seal. I fired up the stove and all is well. The temp hit low 60's today so I filled up the stove in the morning and idled it way down to see what it would hold at. I just checked on the stove and thought it was out. No visible glow with a temp of 189 degrees. Surprisingly the Manometer reading was .02. I open the ash door and within 30 seconds I started to see some life deep in the pot. There were some blue flames poking through with a subtle glow deep down so I knew the fire was alive and well. Amazing how low I got the stove. It's comforting knowing it's waiting...quietly!

Ain't it amazing on how well a good stove & an operator with common sense can make the stove work just the way they were meant to? Nice TC :)
