Score one for coal. The TSC at Chester NY had nut for $7.49 a bag. So yesterday I complained to Robin at the store and told her this was the crappiest TSC in the nation and was changing my business to Heritage Feeds. Got a call this morning .......

To encourage TSC, I went to the web site and entered a glowing review for the coal. At the end of the review there's a question, How likely are you to recommend TSC to others?, and when you answer that they ask you to explain why. In the "why" I told them I liked their coal but lots of stores were not carrying it and could not predict how long a delay if they ordered it, and that's why I wasn't giving them a high number for recommending them. Wishful thinking, but maybe some central office honcho will read it and start pushing the stores.

Hey, that's a good idea RB. How bout a bunch of us write their website, and put in a plug for coal. Maybe they'll take notice. They must already be taking the hint, seeing they've begun to carry, even if it's only nut. (And I guess some rice here and there). I'm still trying to find pea.

If 20-30 of us post glowing reviews, I'd imagine that would actually be noticed by them.

I'm on it right now, Davian. ( Just went there, and didn't see any area with a survey or review. So I just sent them a thumbs up on their contact list.)

There's a search box at the top of their web screen. Enter "coal" then click on the coal bag to get the specific product page. To the right of the coal bag there is an option to write a review. At the end of the review there's a question, “How likely are you to recommend TSC to others?” and when you answer that they ask you to explain why. What you say there won’t appear in your review, but hopefully somebody within TSC reads it, so that is where I nicely explained they should carry more coal and push their stores to stock it. Of course, if the dummies finally get around to stocking it about next May nobody will want to buy it any longer, and they will think it was a mistake.

The Dover, DE store had only been getting in 1 ton at a time. This afternoon, they received 3 tons. Hoping that this is a good sign that they see the market supporting the product to keep it in stock, at least seasonally.
