Oh yeah, she'll continue to sip that 10 lbs for the whole winter---IF IT STAYS AROUND FIFTY :clap: toothy PLUS--you'll be tending every 12 hrs

Lol your probably right, I'm thinking I'm gonna be between 15-20 lbs a day this winter, I'm only burning 19.3 a day in my hand fed furnace right now, and hope to burn around 40 a day once winter hits, I burned 50 a day last winter and I've done some mods to it for this season.

Update... Still doing 24 hour burns, OAT of 40/28, garage temp no lower than 69, stove temp 300, stack temp 120, put 15 lbs in to fill it completely.

Looks like it's a keeper. Use that slicing poker to do a good job on the ash.

I will, I have been running it down through the top also to make sure there is no bridging.

well it ran like this all night, and still the garage only hit 60... don't think this stove is gonna cut it this winter..

Would a strategically placed fan on the floor near the stove help to wash some heat off the stove?
