My Scraping Slicing Tool

My Efel just has one hole in the middle front for slicing so it is kind of hard to get the grates clean without opening my side door and poking away once in a while at the front corners. Late last burning season I decided there had to be a better way. Ive got 4 buildings full of almost useless crap so went digging and found a good tool and thought maybe it would help out the fellow slicers out there. A hack saw. Cheap even if buying new. A good curved edge. I didnt use the 90 degree side but used the other. The other things I found that might work were a coping saw frame and a meat saw frame, which was real heavy duty. Anyway heres a picture of the slicer that came with my stove and the hacksaw so you can see the angles. it will reach in the front corners better.
