Hello, I was hoping that someone could help me. There is a Pittston Magnet no. 4 stove for sale that I am interested in. I am curious if anyone knows when the time frame of when these stoves were made. I am looking for a stove that is pre 1900. I've done some research on the company and get conflicting results. One source states that the company started in the 1860's and went out of business after a fire in the 1890's and then started up again under a completely different name. But at the same time I also found on line a calender from the Pitttston Stove Company from 1954. This stove I'm looking at is in rough shape and I really don't want to take on the restoration project if the stove is not that old. I know that members JUNCHIE and DCRANE own the same stove and I was hoping they, or someone could provide some help. Thanks Mike
