At 30 inches wide I would think at least an 18 inch pot.

Regal Peninsular stoves were made for several runs. There are different versions of the same thing. There is an advertizement in the classifieds here by a man that looks like he has an entire boat load of mica base burners.
I bet he has several Regals.

But the only way to view those stoves mentioned in the forum's classified requires some reconfiguring of computer program, that is not happening here,no way am I taking on that risk just to supposedly look at a bunch of antique stoves. :nono:

Dave,
Do you mean that you can't see the picture when you click on the ad here ?

Steve,
I looked through the Peninsula catalog I have, but that model number is not listed. And it doesn't list firepot sizes for any of the stoves that are listed. :(

Paul, yes I can see that pic,i just read were one could view more with the provided link, that is where the trouble starts. I just won't view any extras associated with that ad. There sure are a lot of stoves even just in that one picture, but they all seem to be the same style.

Yes, most of those stoves are the 'Mica Radiant Baseburner/Double Heater' design.
My Art Garland of the same design has a firepot measuring 15" on the outer rim, 14" inside diameter, without any refractory.
I've seen as small as 10-12" and as large as 18-19" diameter fire pots in this type of stove..

If you have one you are looking at, can't you get the seller to take a measurement? If at an auction, any responsible auction house will be glad to provide more information of an item they will have in their auction.

Take care,

Greg L.

thanks for all the replies guys. the input is greatly apprec'd.

there IS a Peninsular not far from me, claimed #46. it's just far enough not to simply drive over, so i'll have to ask for pics and more info.

i'm also going to contact the fella from selectstoves, this time of yr. I can do road trips pretty easy.
