Playing quick draw games has killed many a man. He really really got lucky with that. Hopefully, the only physical reminders of that will be scars and a sore leg when it's rainy.

Agree, they are quite primative, slinging unwholesome lead and not worthy of modern man. :D

This makes me like my Springfield XD 9 a whole lot better than the other brands out there . Grip safety and trigger safety with no little safety button to fiddle with . Faster in a pinch and safer in almost all situations .

I don't play the stats game myself.

A main purpose of our right to keep and bear arms to to protect our-self from the government .. so how can the gov't limit this right? Do they limit themselves from ARs? No no no. Why? Because they are effective !

So I don't care what the gun murder rate is; it does not change the fact that our right to KBA is mainly to protect yourself from the Gov't.

Now now gov't lackeys who say that "your AR will not protect you from a tank"....they are WRONG. Because our AR will allow us to get a tank and with that tank, knock their tank out. If the notion of "you cannot beat a well equipped army" was true, Mao would never had been Chairman of China...he started with guys with pitchforks and defeated one of the most modern armies of his time.

Local PDs getting MRADs? Goofy yes...but I just thank them for allowing me access to one if I need it.

Gov't toadies do not like me; because I won't argue the stats game with them. They seem to want kids killed by shotguns instead of handguns or other weapons...did a AR kill the kids in Sandy Hook? Well, no .. a person did; and with what is still a mystery unless you want to blindly believe what the gov't tells you --- no records have been made available through those who asked for records on this point.

In a real life situation someone with a gun already drawn would have taken him out . I personally like concealed and side carry under your arm under a jacket . I also believe in the right to open carry which we are allowed to do in VA but I like it better when people don't know . But I applaud the guy for recognizing the mistake and putting out there for people to learn from . We all hope that quick draw situation is never neaded
