Sterling Fan for Radiant Stove?

Does anyone use the Free breeze sterling fan? They look pretty cool,will they work on a radiant coal stove like a Chubby or a Hitzer 50-95 or 82?

I just ordered an Ecofan after seeing pictures of a couple of stove tops with them.

Paul, I am happy with the Ecofan, it does move some air. When cooking, I have been taking it off the stove. I was putting some oregano in a pot of sauce and the fan blew it all over the stove.

The Free Breeze is a bit larger. It is sterling engine powered. I made an offer on an aantique cape on a few acres out in the middle of nowhere. If the power goes out I will not be priority for the power company. I am looking at Hitzer stoves, there are several used Hitzer 82 radiant stoves around. I figured I could use the fan to move the hot air around the house. I don't want to have to rely on electricity.

The only negative I've heard is people are surprised how hot the stove surface has to be to get the Sterling powered fans to even start.

I went with the Ecofan because it seems that it can operate at about half the surface temps of what the Sterling motor fans seem to need. That way I can move it to areas of my range cook top where I'm not needing the hotter areas for cooking.

However, the Ecofans are listed as moving less air than the Sterling powered ones like the much larger Vulcan fans.

Same here. I don't want to use electric or batteries to run a fan.
