After seeing your post, I also checked their website. The coal has disappeared. ....

After reading these posts I had to look for myself. Kimmel anthracite has indeed been removed from TSC's website. Their experiment seems to be over.

They took the product down off their page but there is still coal available at the TS in my town. I think they had a very successful market test and next year my store promises to have pea size along with rice and 'nut. Next season should be interesting as the 2 other coal suppliers rethink their plan and find many of their prepaid customers wonder to TSC. When the dust settles I plan on asking my friend, (manager of the TSC in town), how many tons were sold, my guess 250 ton.

It's been a little over a week but the last two TS stores I was in both had nut coal, one in the doorway area & each told me several pallets in the back, Meadville & Ashtabula.

Thanks.

I'm guessing it won't last long. They told me rice was the size they had trouble keeping in stock.

I agree, it wont last long, but if you live in area and are looking for coal it is at TSC, but also Neumann's Trucking is a Coal Supplier in North Norwich, NY

Bagged Blackshac is 270$/ton and bulk Blackshac is 230$/ton.

SheepDog68 wrote:Talked to TSC Friday about ordering me a pallet of nut coal and they got the truck in today with my coal on it.

Price was $237 for the pallet (5% off for buying full pallet) and other than the lady up front not knowing they sold coal everything went smoothly.

I flat out told them I already had my coal for this year and was only buying more to encourage management to keep this going.

What part of WV are you from?? I live in PBurg. Was hoping my TC would carry anthracite coal but so far no luck. We have a Rural King also, would sure be nice to see them do the same. Right now I get it in Marietta Ohio. Apex store.

I stopped in the Norwich TS this morning and they still had about a half a pallet of the Kimmel's rice - if anyone in the area needs it.
