Hello there Wilson. I don't believe the top bricks are the same as the bottom. Looks like the top row has a 1/2 a bullnose or roundover. My bottom row is worse than the top.

Joe I found the front of the 111 in good cond. have not looked for brick yet Wilson

Skip, while you are looking, see if you have the slotted ring for a 111.

I'd be interested in a set of 111 bricks too.

Ok can't wait. Some day I will feed my addiction and get a suspended pot base heater. I might have to swing up this winter and check out ur g111

We'll thanks I'd love to swing up but the only reason I say winter is Ill have a little more time on my hands do to no day light and will need a good reason to get out of the house come the dead of winter ,as well as I can c that baby in operation :D

Good point CC. I read you loud and clear. As of right now, it's a pile of....parts. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel. :D

My truck is finally fixed, so I now can open up the 111...again. First course of action is the firepot, and bricks. Tomorrow I'll be laying out the parts, and re-examine the bricks. If I can't find some replacements soon, I'll probably need to do the furnace cement, unless you guys talk me out of it. I'll dig it out tomorrow, and post some close-up pics.

I personally can't envision anyone on this forum keeping you from making that stove heat your house. :)

With that said, I think most would agree that you should make forms for your bricks if at all possible..............before you put her back together.

I know a lot of members have discussed "rebricking", but when I try it in the search column, all I get is "no matches found". No matter how I phrase it, I get dead ends.Does anyone remember another thread with this topic being discussed? Thanx.

here joeq try this I found it in my saved list, how much refractory cement needed to cast inside firepot , posted feb. 17 this yr. hope this helps you and good luck !!
