Wow, just found the coffee shop, where have I been. No wonder the rest of the forum has been so quiet, you are all here having coffee.

Hope everyone's summer is going well.

:D Thanks for thinking of me Smitty.

After sitting with my foot in the air for the last couple of weeks while everyone else is going about their lives, I'll take any attention I can get. Today's the day I'm going to try to get in the F-150. If I can get in the truck, I can drive it. It's the only automatic vehicle we have.

Got a call this morning from a friend of a friend who is the house sitter of a Marine on orders to Afghanistan for 6 months. The Marine left 2 active bee hives on his deck and the house sitter doesn't have clue as to what to do with them. Can I come take a look? Why yes, yes I can. If there's any honey, it's all mine. What deal! Even more incentive to get in the truck! I'll let you know what I find.

Take care, Lisa

Wow that's great! Nothing like fresh and free honey. 8-)

I know that feeling of wanting to get out and about. When I crashed my motorcycle in CA 14 years ago, I bruised my ribs so bad that ANY task hurt. Walking, coughing, laughing, even just breathing! I needed to get out of the house after sitting idle for 5 days straight.

I had a big chunk of meat taken out of my knee, so I couldn't bend it - you should've seen me trying to wedge my way into my El Camino! Had to pick up my left leg with my hands, and put it in the car first, then twist to my left & try to slide my bent right leg over to the gas pedal. Wasn't much fun. Would've made some entertaining video, although I was not too happy at the time. Boy did that hurt ...

Was so nice to be able to take a drive though!

Baby seals and saltwater...
Just a snack for White Sharks...
A young white shark only 8'...
Breached going after a seal...
They are very tasty to white sharks..
We have over 30,000 of them here...
The young shark got stuck near the beach...
Saved and tagged...
Lots of Whites' hangin' near the beach...
Won't be near the sharks as the "triplets"...
are just playin' in the bay at half tide...
We call them triplets now because the 2 year old...
is bigger than the twins...
Have one of the twins potty trained...
Devils Purse nice small brewery is making nice beer...
I drive by often going to stop in soon...
Looking for a new to us house now the smaller one is sold...
