The K7 photos done properly, halfway down the page $9500. :eek2: If the lottery would only cooperate I would jump into my truck tomorrow and go collect it. I wouldn't care if they gave HO away, I would still heat with that stove.

More progress.... I drilled the rest of the holes in the barrel and sealed up the joints. Madison Stove Works included some screws with the barrel that look like rivets to attach the door frame. They work really slick. ( I will attach a picture) I finished the cleanup of the base and painted it. Today I assembled the stove in the garage and took a few more pictures.

Someone asked what the size of the fire pot is. I measured and it's 18 inches across. Seems to be a rather large stove.

Enjoy the pictures!

Mike

I have quite a bit of stoves but I don't have a radiant home. Stove is coming along nicely. Keeps the pics rolling. It's going to perform as good as it looks

18" pot!? That'll hold some serious coal. Wonder how that compares to a G8? Fabulous work so far MM. Nice pictures. Can you post some of the guts?

Radiant seem to be under rated, this stove is just fantastic, Well done, keep the pics coming.

Well the G8 is a full base heater and so that makes it beast of the year when gobbling anthracite (and only anthracite) in my book and I think it knows no equal and that is why I just bought another. However, this stove is cuter and is just made for bit coal and so in your part of the world is an excellent choice. Psst, love the train.

Sure Mike. A view of the open load door, showing the pot and the grate would be nice. Thanx.

Looking terrific!

FYI, anyone looking to do the same,...... those threaded "rivets" are commonly used by restoration shops to replace the original rivets when reassemble antique car head light buckets, after re-plating. They come in nickel or chrome plated, or in stainless steel.

Here's two outfits I've used for over 30 years.

Here is a photo of the inside after I cleaned it up. The grates are going to need some help. The pictures show the grates with the warped fork. I broke the fork when trying to remove it. Also notice the cark on the middle grate. Not sure what I am going to do with that yet. I have been focusing my resources on getting the main stove back together.
