Yes Larry it is 200 degrees at 80 or 100 psi, my system at 180 degrees is 14-15 psi, what are the benefits too turning my limit up that high?

It seems as if keeping the heat in the boiler until it's actually needed should result in some degree of fuel savings. But I'm only going on intuition here.

been lit for 14 days now, since 9/26, burned 435 lbs of pea coal, or 31 lbs per day, this is for dhw and some heat calls, doing 12 hour tends just to make it easy.

i figured that seeings I will be "burning" more and at a higher temp which should be more efficient.

It's probably cold up there this morning, how is your duct heat exchanger doing?
Nice coal bin!
A good boiler seal product will take care of that small leak in your Modine, and any other potential leak areas without having to take anything appart.

Very nice setup.
What's the story with the unshielded cable going to the blower motor? I can give you a few feet if that is all you need to finish the job. I have a bunch of scrap pieces leftover from my last install.
A few other thoughts - is that expansion tank supported? If the bladder ever fails and the tank fills with water, it will be good to have it supported. Also, the downpipe on the relief valve should not be threaded on the end.
that's it for now!
