I'm assuming the cold belts are the most popular areas for members on this site. I see lots from the Northern and Eastern region of this country. Some as far as around the great Lakes, and of course our Canadian friends. Also a few from the dark areas of the world. And I can understand why the South and West coast couldn't be bothered, but I don't see why there wouldn't be a lot of members from the mile high state. I would think coal would be burned out there, no? I think I remember some-one mentioning lots of bit coal being popular from that region.
Anyway, I hear they were belted with a nasty early snow storm recently, and was wondering how severe, and how unusual it is for this time of year? Global warming, and the low cost of oil has been keeping the North East pretty comfortable this season...so far.

Spent a week in Colorado and flew home Monday afternoon. It was a 4 -1/2hr ride into Denver with driving in and out of snow fall.
Good to have gotten out of there when we did.

Brought this home...
