Hello,
In my area I can buy one ton of rice anthracite for:
Reading = $260 - picked up
Blaschak = $270 - "
Kimmel = $280 - "
Is it worth the extra money to use the more expensive brands? I've only burned coal for one winter - used Reading, seemed to work fine once I got the furnace fine tuned a bit. Was very wet though, leaked all over my basement floor, big rusty looking puddles/stains...
Any opinions are appreciated.
Thanks!

I swear by Kimmels. Burned off and on for last 30 years when I could get it. It is "on" now thanks to TSC.

Burnt both Blaschak and Reading ... no issues with either. Reading nut seems slightly larger sized.
