Very interesting British coal research film. They cover boilers, coal vacs and augers among other things.

Ironic that they were researching the switch back to coal from expensive oil shortly before the British government shut down the coal mining industry.

Give fracking about 25 more unabated years to exhaust the supplies of NG and oil that can be economically reached thereby, and perhaps once again coal will be given consideration.

Funny how NG and oil also emit massive sums of CO2, but only coal has to date born the brunt of the CO2 causes global warming craze.

Their plan is to demonize and stop coal, then oil and NG.

Here's an interesting little fact that I didn't think would be possible. In watching some videos about the closing of the last UK deep coal mine. The reason given for closing the mine was that it is cheaper to buy and ship coal from Russia!

Apparently the UK government was propping up the coal industry for quite a while. That's strange and sad.
