I was going to make one out of 1/8 in steel but I do not know the dimensions just wondering if anyone knows. I will keep hunting for one then call alaska stove....but im guessing price will be crazy. Did you call them? Could they help you in your quest?

Not bad, could have been a lot worse.

I have that stove. If you're desperate to make your own I can pull it out and measure/picture it for you. Stove is still cold.

Also, 1/8" seems thin, I think it's 3/16? Mine has not warped.

$40 seems fair, but shipping could make it ugly.
