Can anyone see an issue with power washing an S-20 if the gearbox and motor have been removed? I just bought a 1986 520 for $500. It's in nice shape but it looks like they didn't drain the oil bath and its spilled all over. I'm thinking about hitting it with the power washer before I put it all back together.
Thanks

Engine cleaner or oven cleaner works great if you don't have a parts washer.

It will take the paint off if you leave it on too long. It will take the info off the info tag also. Purple Power works good.

Thanks, It did start to take the paint off the info badge, not too bad though. It cleaned up nice.
