I must've blinked, and missed this thread. Nice job on the Rosemont resto. Now that it's upstairs, you'll need to put a chimney on the other side of that wall.
And Paulie, your mancave is screaming for a coal insert. I'm sure fellow Don will find you a suitable candidate. :)
(What! TotP again  )

Thanks Joe
That fireplace in the pic is in our family room not in the man cave :( ......... But it is getting a coal insert thanks to Dons relentless searching.

Awwwwwww ....Now the man cave. :dancing: My plan is to work another insert down there too !

After all.......... It is going to be an Anthracite Based Theme Man Cave :D Ill have to start a progress thread on that project

I'll second it with some conditions .

1. A base finders fee / broker fee must be established and agreed upon by all parties.

2 The base rate on this proposed finders fee may be increased at any time by a prospective buyer. (Hereafter referred to as Bribe ) provided
the finder agrees to give said buyer confidential advance notice prior to posting on the forum.

3 This additional incentive ( Bribe ) shall not be construed as collusion.

Joe,
I think what he's saying is, .... someone searching for a stove should "quietly" give Don an additional bonus (bribe) if he finds them a stove as pretty as that Rosemont, before posting about it on the forum. I tend to agree. ;)

that's a generous way to look at it...................... I think it means, get a set standard finders fee established for Don's efforts in general then, those looking for a particular stove can send Don an extra "appreciation" in advance for his telling them about it before he posts it on forum.

finally, none of this is to be considered "unethical"

i could be mistaken and results may vary depending on how closely one follows the suggestions.

I get what you guys are saying. Lots of people post on our Craigs list column, but Don gets the nod for the most effort spent. I still can't believe the amount of old stoves still out there and available for reasonable, and sometimes flat out "give-away" prices. If only I had a barn. Or should I say an "empty" barn. it wouldn't stay that way for very long. ;)

I appreciate the offers of compensation everyone, but it isn't necessary. Just a thank you will suffice if I find a stove that you are able to aquire.

I'm sure donations to NEPA Crossroads would be appreciated as well. After all, if it weren't for the Mayor, most of us wouldn't be where we are and I couldn't do what I'm doing for everyone.

If anyone happens to be looking at a stove on Craigslist, that I haven't listed yet, please send me a PM so I don't inadvertantly post it and mess up a deal you are trying to make. I've done this already for members that let me know.
