I hear you! Linda doesn't LOL..... She wanted to turn them on the day we got them up.... the day before Thanksgiving. I said " Nooooooooooooo". She said "but lot's of people do now". I said "We don't". So.... she had to wait a couple of nights.

Aren't Christmas trees suppose to go up the 24th & come down on the Epiphany on January 6th? :)

I just talked with Linda..... when she was a kid she was taught of course that Christmas is the birthday of Christ, but, tradition wise.... it was Santa that brought the tree and the presents! There was no tree when she went to sleep on Christmas Eve. In the morning the tree and gifts had arrived during the night. What time did Mom & Dad get to bed after helping Santa put up a tree & wrap gifts? THAT's one I've never heard of!

Yikes!! That is a feat! We had our tree all up....well after Thanksgiving and all, but no presents till we got up Christmas morning...

But yes the tree went up Christmas eve down before the first week was out...
